The most noticeable improvements and extra features over the x30/x40 is that the xtreme comes exclusively with its own handball pump as an alternative means to pump up.

While all the other water-based pumps require you to pump up by jamming the device into your body, the xtreme series allows you to pump up from the top of the device by squeezing the hand pump that attaches at the valve.

This allows for a more controlled and easier pump, which leads to less overall irritation and makes it easier to get the precise amount of pressure that you’re looking for.

The Type Of Gains You Can Expect From Pumping

Here’s some of the gains that you can expect to see with your bathmate pump.

Short Term Gains

First, one of the great things about pumping compared to other enhancement exercises and devices is the immediate short term gains.

You’re going to be surpised at how heavy, thick, and big your penis is after just a single session using your pump.

It was where I made most of my gains before growing out of it in the girth department.

Really there is not much to say about the hercules as it is practically identical to the x30/x40 except for:

• The hercules is a little bit cheaper than the x30/x40.
• The valve isn’t quite as good as it technically leaks because it lacks a close feature (not really a big deal).
• Doesn’t come with a comfort pad (I actually do not use mine, but some people prefer it)
• Doesn’t have as much pressure as the x30/x40 (“35% less pressure”, though it feels more like 20% to be honest)

Despite these things this is still a great pump, and still very much worth the money if the xtreme series was way out of your price range, and you also didn’t want to spend the extra bit of money more for the x30/x40 series.

Honestly, I’d still be happy with my hercules if I hadn’t maxed it out in girth, which was the biggest reason why I opted for a newer and larger model from bathmate.

Don’t be put off by the fact that it’s technically the weakest, because it is still very effective for making gains.

In conclusion, get the hercules if the x30/x40 is outside of your price range and you still want a great pump.

If you can afford the extra bit of cash for the the x30/x40 then get that, or if possible get the Xtreme if you can justify the price.

Penomet

Penomet pumps are bathmates direct competitors as they are also water pumps.

These penis pumps are great as well, and are comparable to bathmate in terms of function, results, and price.

The penomet comes in three different models currently:

• Standard
• Extra
• Premium

One of the noticeable differences between penomet and bathmate is that the penomet uses removable gaiters whereas the bathmate does not.

The removing of the gaiters allows the penomet to be broken down into two pieces whereas all bathmates are unable to be broken down.

There is really no benefit of this one way or another.

The gaiters for the penomet are used to increase or decrease the pressure of the device, as there are different gaiters that come with different models.

For example, the highest/most expensive model from penomet (the premium) comes with all the gaiters from low-high pressure, whereas the lowest model (standard) only comes with two gaiters that are low-medium in pressure.

On the other hand, as previously mentioned, the bathmate models do not use removable gaiters for pressure.

Basically, the bathmate and penomet models of similar price are also similar in overall pressure (they have to be for safety purposes), so there isn’t really much of any benefit of having these gaiters vs not having them in regards to achieving more or less pressure.

Personally, I prefer the bathmate because it doesn’t have removable gaiters, as it just makes it one less thing to have to worry about.

The other thing I prefer about the bathmate is the design/structure of the device. The penomet’s are physically bulkier and bulbous looking, and I just prefer the sleeker look and feel of the bathmate.

For a while the penomet premium model was the most comprehensive penis pump out (and the most expensive), and was recommended as the best if you had the money to spend.

However, now that the bathmate has introduced their high-end xtreme xx30/xx40 model it has matched and in my opinion surpassed it with its ability to pump up using a handball-pump.

The take home message is this:

The penomet models are all comparable and very similar in terms of pressure and the results you can expect from the similar priced models from bathmate.

However, for every model from penomet there is a model from bathmate that is relatively equal if not slightly better (in my opinion and the people I talk to), whether that’s due to bathmates better overall design making it sleeker, easier, and quicker to use, or just the fact that the overall experience with the bathmate feels better (at least to me, and the people I know who own both).

These things should all be important to you because it will likely increase the likelihood that you will stay committed to using your penis pump over the long haul, which is what’s needed to actually see results.

So, overall, we tend to prefer bathmates in general over penomets.

However, penomet still do make good penis pumps.

If you like the idea of removable gaiters over the fixed bathmate, prefer the larger overall size of the penomet, or just had your heart set on penomet for whatever reason, then you’re not going to be making a bad decision by getting one.

Again, gains are going to be pretty much the same between bathmate and penomet (in terms of the devices actual capabilities to produce the correct amount of pressure needed for gains to occur).
